Abilities
- Keith advises swapping Aura of Life & Confusion, as well as adding Hold Monster as a choice at tier 5
- In addition the Primal Connection trait of the Mark of Handling feat gains: “You can target Beasts when you cast Calm Emotions.”
- Those with the Mark might be able to cast Command and Confusion
- For most NPC heirs these spells only work on animals, but for PC’s they work on people as well
- There is however a stigma us using them in this way. Doing so would be akin to a PC treating humans as little more than livestock. Heirs are taught early the dangers of considering animals and sentient beings in such as way.
- Both Awaken, Conjure Animals and Find Familiar use the same principals for a Vadalis Heir
- They are conjuring a familiar spirit and giving it form (or putting it in an existing form, in the case of Awakening)
