Chains of the Yugoloth Whip, rare

A set of Rusted chains that wrap around the forearm of the wielder. The end of the Chain is covered in spikes that menace. This 15ft length of chain can be used as a whip-like weapon. This weapon can act as a spell casting focus. You also gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, which has a reach of 15 feet. When you hit a creature or object using this whip, you can attempt to grapple the target as a bonus action. Dexterity (Athletics) can be used as the grappling check.

While you have a creature grappled using this whip, you can use your action to either pull the creature up to 15 feet toward you, or cause the creature to be restrained until you let go of the whip. You can also use a Bonus Action to cast a cantrip with a range of touch through the whip on a grappled target.

A creature restrained or grappled in this way can escape by making a successful Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check as an action. The DC of this check equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier.

This weapon can act as a spell casting focus, the chain leaves the hand free while not in use. You also gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, which has a reach of 15 feet.

You can also use a Bonus Action to attempt grapple a target with a reach of 15ft. Dexterity (Athletics) can be used as the grappling check. While grappling with this weapon you cannot perform attacks with it.

While you have a creature grappled using this whip, you can use your action to either pull the creature up to 10 feet toward you, or cause the creature to be restrained until you let go of the whip. You can also use a Bonus Action to cast a cantrip with a range of touch through the whip on a grappled target. You may use your movement to drag a creature grappled or restrained (as per normal grapple rules), however the creature can only be moved directly behind you relative to the direction of movement.

A creature restrained or grappled in this way can escape by making a successful Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check as an action. The DC of this check equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier.
