Originating in Karrnath, this stark, grain-distilled spirit is filtered through charred beet sugar and often bottled without adornment. Within Karrnath it is valued for clarity, strength, and a refusal to apologise. Abroad, darker and sweeter imitations are common, particularly in Breland, where taverns soften it for “civilised” palates. True Karrns will drink it neat and warm, and complain about it either way.
