Named for the fiercely disputed city of Thaliost, often referred to as the “Firepit”. This sharp apple brandy is produced in both Aundairian and Thrane-held territories, each claiming the “true” method. Within Aundair, only casks aged in lightning-treated oak are considered authentic; across the border, the Flame-blessed distillation is said to be superior. Outside the region, the distinction is rarely understood, and most taverns simply stock whichever bottle their distributor offers — a fact that reliably starts arguments among those who care.
