A small stone, found in various bright in colours, with faint mysterious runes carved into its surface. When placed on a surface, the stone hovers roughly three inches above the ground, though even a small amount of pressure will stop it from doing so.
These stones are purportedly smuggled from The Venomous Demesne, where they are said to be known as “Lord Congenio’s Promises.” Aside from their strange hovering property, they appear to have no discernible magical effect.
Despite this, a wide range of rumours surround them. Some claim the stones ward against misfortune, while others insist they prevent minor ailments or bring subtle good fortune. None of these claims have ever been reliably confirmed.
