Formal Phrases
Greetings & Goodbyes general give blessings from the person or the tribe, and often include the spirits whom the person has met along the way
- Blessings of the land upon you and your tribe friend
- The Spirits and I herald you Stranger
- Ancestors and I see you and bid you welcome
Funeral rites
there is no single funeral tradition, but there are some common themes
- Offerings of food, valuables, tools and weapons given to the dead
- Bodies are often returned to the tribe where it is allowed to decompose naturally and openly to continue the cycle of life and allow the spirit to escape.
- The tribe will often relocate away from the body
