This knowledge is largely unknown in Khorvaire. Only those who have traveled to Daanvi, formed pacts with its agents, or studied its workings through rare texts may be aware of its true structure

Chapters of Daanvi

Chapter of Rules

  • Oversees the Prime Gate and all extraplanar embassies.
  • Members of this Chapter are aware that their realm operates within the boundaries of a structured game. Within Daanvi, they interpret this as divine law — the highest and most abstract tier of cosmic order.
  • They employ in-universe “Game Masters” — avatars styled after real-world game designers — who observe events across planes and provide in-world rulings and feedback. These GMs do not answer to any single division, acting as impartial interpreters of law.
  • These avatars are not their literal real-world counterparts, but idealized constructs imbued with near-omniscient rule sense.

Baker Division

  • Interprets the rules of Eberron specifically.
  • Specializes in the metaphysics of Siberys, Khyber, and Eberron, and their influence on magic systems and Prophesy mechanics.

Crawford Branch

  • Oversees player agency, fairness, and mechanical balance.
  • May intervene to prevent excessive power imbalances or unintended consequences from player action or rule interactions.

Mearl Mission

  • Handles non-player constructs — creatures, constructs, and factions.
  • Maintains the balance of challenge, stakes, and narrative integrity for NPCs across planes.

Observation Chapter

  • Operates the Panopticon, Daanvi’s all-seeing surveillance mechanism.
  • Monitors the multiverse for infractions of Law and Rules — but does not pass judgment or enforce.
  • Supplies findings to the Other Chapters.

Chapter of Law

  • Maintains the Infinite Archive, the vast codex of legal precedent, planar compacts, and celestial treaties
  • Handles the drafting and registration of pacts, oaths, and contracts — especially those involving warlocks or extraplanar patrons.
  • Ensures that all agreements are archived, notarized, and cross-referenced with divine law and planar jurisprudence.

Enforcement Chapter

  • Manages the Iron Ward and the Inescapable Prison.
  • Provides field agents, auditors, and enforcement golems to all other Chapters.
  • Trains contract enforcers, divine bailiffs, and extraplanar correction teams.

Chapter of Justice

  • Presides over the Halls of Justice, a realm of eternal deliberation and impartial judgment.
  • Judges those who violate cosmic law, mortally or immortally.
  • Capable of imposing multiversal sentences, including divine rebuke, memory excision, or reincarnation penalties.
