Faiths 1

  • The frontier lacks much infrastructure for religion, but faith is strong, if simple among its people
    • Holds communities together
    • gives strength in hard times (of which there are many)
  • Breland and Droaam have their own main religions, but the melting pot of citizens (on both sides and between both sides), has bread general tolerance of the beliefs of others.
    • For example a Gnoll of the Znir Pack despise fiends, but will work with a Warlock-priest of the Horned King if the Pay is good.
    • House Orien (Faction) know that the Kobolds of Khaar’paal worship The Dark Six, and hold reveals for The Fury, but they are also really good at placing conductor stones, and that’s what matter most.
  • The Citizens of both nations do share some common ground on religion: They both recognise the gods of their opposing Patheon

Sovereign Host

  • See The Sovereign Host
  • Major Brelish towns will have a church dedicated to the Host. Towns and Villages might only have a shrine
  • Most of these are dedicated to the Host as a whole, however some towns have a strong connection to a specific member.

The Cazhaak Six

The Silver Flame

  • See Church of the Silver Flame
  • Does not have much hold in Breland2
    • There is a single Church in Ardev
  • In its past its considered the races of what is now Droaam as supernatural threats. 2
    • Several Crusades, or unofficial incursions were launched by the Church and its members
    • This included the fated founding of Grimstone Keep (Then named Brightstone).
  • The Silver Flame gets little love on the Frontier

Cults of the Dragon Below

The Horned King 3

  • The most prevalent “Cult” on the Frontier is that of the Minotaur’s of Turakbar’s Fist
  • The Horned king is a Demon Overlord Tol Kharash.
  • Droaamites (Race) are not hugely fond of this practice, but it is tollerated and accepted within the nation
    • This does give the Minotaur’s a poor reputation, and somewhat ostracises them

Daelkyr Cults 4

  • Unlike the Horned King, the Daelkyr pose a threat to the Daughters of Sora Kell, so cults of the Daelkyr are stamped out on both sides of the Border.
  • No known wide spread cults of the Daelkyr
  • Orlassk is said to have cursed the Stone lands around Cazhaak Draal and may have created the first gargoyles.
